As the 7th fastest growing and 18th largest city in South Carolina, Mauldin residents want to live, work, and bring up their families in a town they are proud to call home.
Quality of life issues are a major factor, and that includes our city’s recreational options.
As a product of Mauldin Recreation, himself, and now with a son who has been active in Mauldin’s recreation programs for several years, Taft Matney knows how important it is that residents have recreation options that meet the city’s evolving needs – from adult activities to youth sports – and that we have the facilities to meet those needs.
Taft Matney believes that our quality of life options should be the first place our families look for their recreation needs and that going to neighboring municipalities shouldn’t be an option that enters their minds.
