We had great success this spring when we took input from parents and coaches to take steps to improve our youth baseball program, and we’ll continue working to improve it.
Now, it’s time for the city’s fall sports — specifically football and cheerleading — and again, we want input from parents, players, and coaches to understand where we’re doing really well and where we can stand to improve.
Like we did in the spring, we’re conducting an open meeting for parents and coaches to address the state of our football and cheerleading programs. This meeting will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mauldin Senior Center (Ray Hopkins Senior Center at 203 Corn Road).
We want and need you to be there, and we ask that you let your friends, neighbors, former coaches, and former teammates know about the meeting, too.
If you have issues that need to be addressed, we want to know what they are. If there are things we’re doing well, we want to know that, too, so we can continue down that road.
This is an open meeting, and we want parents and coaches to be completely honest with what they think and what they feel and what their perceptions are of Mauldin Recreation football /cheerleading.
Please make sure to attend this very important meeting on July 17 at the Mauldin Senior Center at 6:00 p.m.
This is not an invitation to simply show up and listen. This is a request for you to become involved and engaged with the future of Mauldin Recreation football and cheerleading and how we as a community can work together to keep making the program better.
Please also share this link and information with your friends and neighbors who currently participate in, have participated in, or are no longer participating in Mauldin Rec football /cheerleading. We need EVERYONE’S input.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mauldin Senior Center for an open, honest, and productive session about where our football /cheerleading programs are and where they need to be.
Sincerely,
Taft
P.S. Don’t forget. Mauldin Football registration is going on until July 18. You can register either at the Mauldin Sports Center or online at: https://mpar.sportssignup.com.
