I was a skeptic when the Swamp Rabbit Trail’s plans were first announced, but facts are facts, and I turned in to a believer a long time ago.
Looking at the growth in popularity and the increased business development along the trail from Greenville to Travelers Rest, there is no denying that the Swamp Rabbit Trail has been a tremendous economic benefit.
There’s no reason Mauldin shouldn’t be a part of it, too. Now, as plans unfold to extend the trail through Verdae and CU-ICAR, linking with Mauldin is a natural progression.
As we also launch the capital campaign to finish the Mauldin Cultural Center, it’s simple to say that there’s no time like the present to plan for the future.
