Dear Friends,
The clock struck Noon, and just like that, the field was set for November 5th’s Mauldin City Council elections.
I’m looking forward to talking with friends, neighbors, and businesses throughout the city as we work our way toward November 5 when voters will decide the direction they want our city to move.
There are two people in the race for Seat 1, and I’m one of them. My goal isn’t to run against the other person but instead to run for Seat 1 on Mauldin City Council – discussing and planning for the future of Mauldin.
We’ll be talking about a number of issues that will determine the city’s future, and it can’t be a one-way conversation.
There has to be input from everyone, and I hope you’ll help provide it.
With 81 days until the polls open, we’ll roll out our campaign’s platform over the next several weeks, and I want your thoughts. I hope you’ll get involved with us, too.
There are a number of ways to do that.
First, to get involved with the campaign or to share your thoughts, you can either click the “Contact” page at MatneyForMauldin.com, click HERE, or email me directly at taft@matneyformauldin.com.
Second, encourage your friends, neighbors, and family members to get involved. Tell them to visit the “Stay Informed/Get Involved” page at MatneyForMauldin.com, or have them click HERE.
Third, if you want to invest in this campaign and in Mauldin’s future, and I hope that you do, secure contributions can be made simply by clicking the “Donate Now” button at MatneyForMauldin.com or by clicking HERE.
I’m asking for your input, your time, your volunteer effort, your financial investment, and your vote.
Ensuring a win for Mauldin on November 5 means we need sign locations. We need people knocking on doors in neighborhoods. We need people calling friends and neighbors and asking them to support this campaign.
This will be a team effort, and it won’t be successful without you.
Please, take time to get involved with our campaign today. Driving in to Mauldin, we’re told to “Expect Great Things.” We need to “Expect Greater Things,” and I hope you’ll help us build a future that Mauldin deserves.
Thank you for all of your support so far, and I hope to continue earning that support and trust as we work toward a victory on November 5.
Please let me know if there is anything I can say, do, or answer if you have any questions at all, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Taft
